Call for proposals EaSI PROGRESS Axis

11/06/2014 | On 20th May has been published call for proposals for “Progress Axis”(VP/2014/008) program framed within the EASI program (Employment and Social Innovation), be subject 61% of the budget.

The general objective of this call is to promote innovation and reform social policy to deal with the major challenges (aging population, labor market access, access to health care, dependent care, child care / preschool age etc.) and develop innovative policy actions to respond national, regional and local realities.

The main areas where it call is focused are the following :

• One-stop-shops are an advanced form of integration which comprises multi-service delivery in a single location. The integration of social services through setting up 'one-stop-shops' has potential for cost efficiency, the effectiveness of the delivery and the capacity to tackle complex and multiple problems while also ensuring take-up and coverage.

• Personalised approach through high quality case handlers. Is a form of integrated service at the level of the individual. For instance, in a multidisciplinary team, one team member could act as the case manager, ensure the coordination between the team members and the user, especially for users facing complex and long-term needs.

• Innovative partnerships: These partnerships could include relevant private and public entities, as well as civil society organisations.

The consortium must be formed by stakeholders involved in the process of social policy innovation. The lead applicant must be a public authority or a public body at national, regional or local level having a role to play in policy setting or delivering social services.

The budget of this call is 9 200 000 €. The requested grant must be between 750 000 € and 2 000 000 €.

The proposal must respect the maximum limit for EU co-financing, namely maximum
80% of the total eligible costs of the action.

The duration of the project must be between 24 months and 36 months.
