Erasmus+ Key Action 3: Call for Proposals 2015. Teaching.
19/12/2014 | Last December 18th the European Commission published under the Erasmus+ Programme the call for proposals for Key Action 3: Support for policy reform – Initiatives for policy innovation. Policy experimentation in school education sector.
The objective of this call is to encourage the relevant public authorities to submit proposals for testing innovative policy ideas and reforms in the area of recruitment, selection and induction of new teachers coming to the profession through alternative pathways (they could be graduates, mid-career professionals or unemployed people with no formal training in teaching to become teachers).
The priority theme is to strengthen recruitment, selection and induction of the best and most suitable candidates to the teaching profession by developing alternative pathways to teaching.
Public authorities or any public or private body active in the fields of education and training may apply for funding.
The 28 Member States if the European Union can fully participate, as well as the EFTA/EEA countries: Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway; and, EU candidate countries: Turkey and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.
The total budget earmarked for this call for proposals will be EUR 5 million. The maximum grant per project will be EUR 2 500 000.
Financial contribution from the EU cannot exceed 75 % of the total eligible project costs.
The deadlines for submissions are:
- Pre-proposals (eForm): 20 March 2015, 12.00 CET.
- Full proposals (paper application form): 1 October 2015 (date of postmark).
